This website, lyjaapp.eu, presents Lyja, an activity-based weather app. Contact us about privacy at privacy@lyjaapp.eu.
Your approximate location
To show local weather without asking for permission, your browser asks a free IP-geolocation service (ipapi.co, then ipwho.is or get.geojs.io if the first is unavailable) for the rough city that your IP address belongs to. This request goes straight from your browser to that service. We do not receive, log or store your IP address or location.
Weather data
Your browser then requests the forecast for that rough location from Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com). Only the coordinates are sent. Weather data by Open-Meteo, licensed under CC BY 4.0.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
Hosting
The site is served as static files by our hosting provider, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and operation, under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you and to complain to your data-protection authority. Since this website does not store personal data, there is usually nothing for us to hand over, but you can always contact us.
